The first incident took place in December when the Monroe Police Department received the complaint of a sexual assault taking place at the home of Thein Ly, age 38, of Monroe, said Monore Police Lieutenant Stephen Corrone.
The two juveniles said while staying at Ly’s residence, he allegedly provided them with alcohol and inappropriately touched both of the juveniles during the stay, Corrone said.
Ly was arrested based upon the first complaint on Thursday, April 1, and charged with:
- Risk of injury/illegal sexual contact with minor under 16
- Sexual Assault
He was released on a $1,000 bond.
He was arrested for a second complaint on Tuesday, April 6, and charged with risk of injury to a minor and permitting a minor to possess alcohol, police said.
He was again released on a $1,000 bond.
Ly is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, April 9.
